We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sea Freight Export Coordinator on behalf of a well-established logistics company based in Slough. This is a permanent role covering the full export process, from quotations through to final shipment.
The Role
You will be responsible for handling sea freight export shipments end to end, ensuring excellent customer service, accurate documentation, and on-time deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and issuing sea freight export quotations
- Booking shipments with shipping lines and freight partners
- Managing export shipments from order receipt through to final shipment
- Preparing and checking all export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading
- Liaising with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, and hauliers
- Tracking shipments and providing updates to customers
- Ensuring compliance with export regulations and company procedures
- Resolving any shipment issues or delays efficiently
Requirements
- Previous experience in sea freight exports is essential
- Strong understanding of export documentation and Incoterms
- Experience handling shipments from quotation to shipment
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
