Location: Slough\\n Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am β 5:00pm\\n Salary: Β£28,000 β Β£31,000 per annum\\n Contract: Temp to Perm\\n\\n We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Hire Controller to join their busy and fast-paced operation. This role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working as part of a supportive team.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nResponding to emails and customer queries along with answering incoming telephone calls.\\nManaging inbound hire and sales enquiries, completing transactions accurately and in a timely manner\\nProviding a high level of customer service, both over the phone and serving customers at the trade counter\\nCarrying out general administrative duties\\nDeveloping strong product knowledge to effectively support customers\\nAbility to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment\\n\\nSkills & Experience Required:\\n\\nProven previous experience in a Customer Service role, ideally handling inbound order or sales enquiries\\nAbility to successfully complete transactions while ensuring customer satisfaction\\nPrevious experience in the hire or construction industry is desirable but not essential\\nStrong communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and build relationships\\nConfident using initiative and judgment to make decisions in line with company policies and pricing structures\\nA collaborative team player with a flexible and adaptable approach\\nStrong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail\\nCommitment to continuous improvement and enhancing service levels\\nGood computer literacy, including MS Office, with a willingness to learn new systems
