Pertemps is delighted to be supporting a leading Fire & Security provider as they continue to expand their operations team. They are now looking for a proactive and highly organised Project Coordinator to support the smooth delivery of fire and security installation projects. In this role, you’ll play a key part in coordinating engineers, managing project documentation, and ensuring all resources and schedules are aligned. You’ll act as a central link between engineers, clients, sales, procurement, and project managers—helping ensure every project runs efficiently from planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate fire and security installation projects across multiple sites
- Schedule engineers, subcontractors, and resources to meet project deadlines
- Prepare job packs, project documents, and ensure materials/equipment are available
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding access, timelines, and progress
- Support Project Managers with programme updates, reports, and compliance information
- Monitor progress against plans and assist in resolving scheduling or logistical issues
- Ensure project delivery meets industry standards and internal procedures
- Contribute to improving planning processes and promoting “right first time” delivery
About You
- Experience in Fire & Security, engineering coordination, or project support (desirable)
- Strong organisational and scheduling abilities with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable using project planning software and digital systems
- Clear, confident communicator able to work with engineers, clients, and suppliers
- Full UK driving licence preferred (occasional site visits)
