Role Overview:
London Borough of Harrow is looking for a dedicated and organised Allocations Support Officer to join our Housing team, focusing on Emergency and Temporary Accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the allocation and placement of individuals and families into emergency and temporary accommodation.
- Liaise with internal departments, landlords, and accommodation providers to ensure suitable placements.
- Maintain accurate records and update housing systems with placement details.
- Respond to urgent housing needs and provide administrative support to the Allocations team.
- Ensure compliance with housing legislation, policies, and safeguarding procedures.
