We are currently seeking an HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver for a full-time, permanent position based in Stroud. This role offers a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum (£14.95ph). Working Monday to Friday, you'll start around 06:30 and work approximately 9 hours per day. Weekend overtime is available but not mandatory.
As a permanent member of our clients team, you will be responsible for the removal, disposal, and management of wastewater and liquid waste using a vacuum tanker. Previous experience is required, and an immediate start is desirable following a successful interview.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver and collect waste liquid using a Class 2 (Cat C) tanker vehicle
- Complete delivery notes and paperwork accurately
- Represent the company professionally with a positive attitude
- Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy
- Always deliver customer service
- Previous Class 2 HGV rigid axel tanker driving experience
- Someone comfortable working around waste and strong odours
- Full, in-date UK HGV Class 2 driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
- Positive and professional 'can do' attitude
- Maximum of 9 points for minor endorsements
- You must be successful following a face-to-face interview
