The Role
As a Production Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth production processes and high-quality outputs. You will work closely with both office teams and the shop floor, using your technical knowledge to solve issues, gain additional information, and monitor progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support for production processes and resolve technical issues.
- Liaise with customers to clarify requirements and gain additional information.
- Monitor progress and ensure production schedules are met.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve efficiency and quality.
- Apply knowledge of machining processes, including milling, turning, and gun drilling, to support production planning.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on production performance.
Candidate Requirements:
- Background in CNC or manual machining, with an understanding of milling, turning, or gun drilling.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with customers and internal teams.
- Office-based experience, including reporting and progress tracking.
