The predicted salary is between 13 - 18 £ per hour.
We are looking for a Class 1 Shunter Driver for our client's site in Ashford.
Your role as a Class 1 shunter driver will involve:
- Shunting trailers in and out of bays
- Moving trailers around the yard
- Ensuring the safe and legal operation of your vehicle at all times
- Escorting drivers initially to the waiting area
- Taking keys from the vehicles to the bays
- Completing paperwork for any trailer moves to ensure any damage is reported prior to moves to protect against false claims
As an HGV Class 1 shunter driver, you will have:
- 1 year C+E experience is a must
- No more than 6 points
- Digi card and CPC
- Previous experience of shunting is essential
Essential Information:
- PAYE Rate ph - up to £18.54
- Working Hours - (Apply online only)
- Working Days - 4 on 4 off
