Starting salary - £32k
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (flexible working required to meet the needs of a demanding client. This will include weekends/evenings)
Reports to: Director
Roles & Responsibilities:
- To provide senior leadership and support to the Northern Hub, managing a team of Contract Consultants based in the Northern Hub in Barnsley.
- Deliver the highest levels of operational support to all the sites aligned to the Hub, including but not limited to:
- Operational fulfilment, maintaining/improving where required.
- Forward planning – ensuring delivery of a clear build profile for each location 8 weeks prior to any peak uplift.
- Maintain close working relationships with all warehouse staff across each location using the tools available.
- Deliver 100% compliance against all recruitment vetting standards at all times.
- Introduction of best practice initiatives as outlined by the R.A.M.
- Ensure contractual fulfilment in line with KPI/SLA for each site and the hub.
- Attend monthly reviews with R.A.M. and all Op’s level client contacts ensuring detailed actions/notes are captured.
- Ensure 100% compliance audit rating for the Hub.
- Support effective roll out of any new internal initiatives/projects.
- Attend client sites where necessary to support recruitment initiatives.
- Support the R.A.M. with peak planning & delivery.
- Provide senior point of escalation for all HR matters relating to the Contract Consultants and our warehouse workers.
- Ensure all personal objectives are always met.
- Escalate in a timely manner any known operational issues that might involve the senior Gist/Pertemps management team.
- Maintain the highest levels of communication both written and oral with the client, the warehouse workers and within the Pertemps management team.
- Ensure all systems and data is maintained at all times.
- Ensure that all relevant payroll deadlines are met at all locations, managing the flow of information between the client and our internal departments.

- An inquisitive approach to managing the various sites identifying opportunities to improve process, recruitment, financial and operational performance to the benefit of the Pertemps contract.
- Capability for making sound/confident decisions on behalf of the client and Pertemps.
- A calm, encouraging and enthusiastic character when managing complex and sensitive internal and external communications.
- Ability to meet and exceed all tasks and functions without management reminder.
- Experience in Contract / Industrial recruitment.
- Experience in team management and ability to increase motivation.
