We\’re looking for a dedicated yard assistant to support operations in our Edinburgh yard, ensuring efficient stock movement, maintaining site safety, and providing excellent service to customers and colleagues.
What you\’ll do:
– Assist with loading, unloading, and organising stock in the yard.
– Ensure the yard is kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
– Support customers and drivers with collections and deliveries.
– Check and maintain stock levels, reporting any discrepancies.
– Operate forklifts and other machinery where required
– Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
What we\’re looking for:
– Previous experience in a similar yard or warehouse role is preferred.
– Forklift experience with licence essential.
– Strong teamwork skills and a proactive attitude.
– Good physical fitness to manage manual handling tasks.
