Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Trade Sales Manager to lead a fast-paced B2B sales team, drive growth, and build long-term relationships with professional customers, including workshops, specialists, and performance garages. This role suits someone comfortable in a high-pressure, KPI-driven environment with frequent outbound activity and strict margin control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and motivate the Trade Sales Team, monitoring performance and KPIs
- Drive daily sales to achieve monthly revenue targets
- Strengthen relationships with existing trade customers and onboard new ones
- Oversee outbound activity, quoting, account management, and margin control
- Ensure team adherence to internal processes, SOPs, and credit procedures
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in Trade Sales, B2B Account Management, or Sales Management
- Background in automotive, aftermarket parts, industrial supply, wholesale, or similar trade-driven sectors
- Experience leading teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Strong commercial awareness — understands margins, pricing, stock flow, and processes
- Highly organised, detail-driven, and able to make quick decisions
- Comfortable with occasional weekend work for automotive events or car shows
Key Skills:
- Strong leadership with ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
