Pertemps Education are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a wonderful and inclusive Secondary School in Wembley for a passionate and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, supportive SEN team and make a real difference in the lives of young people across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The Role
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to students with additional needs
- Deliver small group interventions to boost progress and confidence
- Work collaboratively with teachers and fellow SEN LSAs
- Support students academically, socially and emotionally
- Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment
This role is ideal for someone who is patient, proactive and genuinely passionate about supporting students with special educational needs.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience working with SEN students (essential)
- Understanding of a range of additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties)
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A calm, empathetic and resilient approach
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
