Service Manager, Assessment & Safeguarding, Adult Social Care\\nRole Overview:\\nPertemps is seeking an experienced, motivated, and innovative Service Manager to lead a newly re-designed Adult Social Care service. As a Service Manager, you will have strategic oversight of the service, ensuring effective delivery of adult social care functions, with a strong focus on safeguarding, personalisation, and integration.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nLead and manage a team of Social Workers and Community Care Officers, ensuring efficient service delivery.\\nOversee the safeguarding of adults at risk, ensuring compliance with the Care Act 2014 and related legislation.\\nManage competing service priorities, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet departmental objectives.\\nDrive the personalisation agenda, promoting strength-based approaches and integration with health and voluntary sector partners.\\nEnsure quality assurance, performance management, and compliance with statutory responsibilities.\\nDevelop strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including NHS, voluntary organisations, and community services.\\nSupport the implementation of strategic plans, ensuring services are effective, responsive, and financially sustainable.\\nProvide leadership, supervision, and mentoring to staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Key Requirements:\\n\\nQualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.\\nExtensive experience in adult social care, with a strong focus on safeguarding, integration, and service transformation.\\nStrong leadership and management experience, including the ability to motivate and develop staff.\\nExcellent knowledge of adult social care legislation, policy, and best practice.\\nAbility to manage complex priorities and drive service improvements.\\nStrong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships.If this sounds like the role for you, please contact Aishah Hassan on (url removed) for more information\\n\\nThis is an agency post and Pertemps can offer you:\\n\\nA Dedicated consultant who has access to all roles across the UK and is available for you to speak to\\nAn easy registration process (all done online)\\nReferral schemes and incentives\\nOngoing compliance managed for you\\nPrompt and reliable payroll and lots more \\nWe recruit across all areas of Qualified Social Work.
