Our partnered school in Harrow is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their inclusive and nurturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with diverse learning needs.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning difficulties. You will work closely with support staff, parents, and the SENCO to create a positive and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver creative, differentiated lessons for small groups or one-to-one learners.
- Implement EHCP (Education, Health, and Care Plan) targets effectively.
- Collaborate with the SENCO, therapists, and teaching assistants to provide holistic support.
- Use a range of behaviour management strategies to promote positive learning outcomes.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting approaches as needed.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with children with SEN in a school or specialist setting.
- Strong knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and behaviour support.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children to reach their full potential.
