Part-time Teaching Assistant – Islington – Immediate Start Pertemps Education are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Part-Time Learning Support Assistants to work in various schools across North London. This role involves working closely with students who require additional academic or emotional support, helping them engage fully with the curriculum and thrive in the classroom environment.    This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a flexible part-time position who is passionate about making a positive impact in students’ lives.    Location: North London Pay: £92.00 – £105.00 per day  Start Date: Immediately Interview Date: ASAP    Key Responsibilities:  Provide 1:1 or small group support to students who require additional assistance in their learning.  Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons, adapting materials as needed to support individual student needs.  Encourage the social, emotional, and academic development of students, promoting independence and confidence.  Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.  Monitor and record student progress, sharing updates with staff and parents when necessary.  Support students with special educational needs or English as an Additional Language (EAL) as required.   Qualifications and Skills:  Experience working with children, preferably in a school or educational setting.  Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.  An understanding of special educational needs (SEN) and strategies to support individual learning.  Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.  A proactive and flexible approach to supporting students across a range of subjects and abilities.   How to Apply:  To apply, please follow the instructions in this advert, send your CV directly to (url removed) or call (phone number removed)
