We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, spraying, and finishing vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring a flawless and professional finish.

Annual Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 DOE

Weekly Hours: 7.30am to 4pm - Mon to Fri

This role requires attention to detail, precision, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
  • Mixing and matching paint to achieve the correct colour and finish.
  • Applying paint using spray guns and other industry-standard techniques.
  • Carrying out minor repairs such as filling dents and scratches before painting.
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and meets customer expectations.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Using appropriate PPE and following company procedures to ensure safety.
  • Inspecting completed work for quality and making necessary touch-ups.
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and techniques to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements & Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer in an automotive body shop or similar environment.
  • Knowledge of different paint types, application methods, and mixing techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within a workshop environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
  • Relevant qualifications in vehicle refinishing (NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds) (desirable but not essential).
