Annual Salary: £42,000 to £48,000 with plenty of overtime available
Weekly Shifts: 8am to 6pm - Mon to Fri
The role: You will be part of a 3 man team working on days. On your team will be an Electrician, Multi Skilled Maintenance and yourself the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. You will be tasked to carry out preventative maintenance tasks as well as be reactive with regard plant breakdowns and repairs. All actions need to be carried out in a safe and professional manner, reporting to supervisors and filling out daily shift reports and other necessary paperwork.
General Scope of work:
- Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Read from engineering drawings
- Responsible for PPM
- General Welding and Fabrication
- Oxygen/acetylene burning
- Bench fitting
- Forklift/cherry picker/OHC operation
Experience/Qualifications Required:
- Completed Apprenticeship/time served would be preferred.
- NVQ level 3 or City and Guilds in Mechanical Maintenance
