We are recruiting a Quality & Compliance Coordinator to work for a rapidly expanding business based in Brierley Hill. The main objective of the position will be to support the company’s quality, health & safety, environmental and compliance systems by maintaining documents, records and registers, supporting audits, and working with managers to ensure standards are met.
Main Duties:
- Maintain Health & Safety documentation, accident/incident records and compliance registers
- Support updates to policies, procedures and management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)
- Control and maintain company documents, ensuring correct version control and filing
- Prepare audit evidence, support internal and external audits, and track actions to completion
- Maintain company accreditations (e.g. CHAS, ConstructionLine, Supply Chain School)
- Maintain NCR records and support customer complaint investigations
- Ensure project and compliance files meet contractual and audit requirements
- Maintain training matrices, competency records, inductions and certifications
- Support managers in identifying training needs
- Assist with tenders and PQQ submissions and maintain standard responses
- Maintain environmental and waste records and support sustainability reporting
- Promote a positive quality and compliance culture and escalate concerns when needed
- Support compliance communications and wellbeing initiatives
Essential experience and skills:
- Experience in a quality, compliance or systems administration role
- Strong organisational and document control skills
- Working knowledge of ISO management systems
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence working with managers and supporting audits
- Internal Auditor qualification
- IOSH membership or basic Health & Safety training
- Experience in construction, manufacturing or fit-out environments is an advantage
- Experience with PQQs, accreditations or audits
