Our client is currently seeking an experienced Laser Setter Operator to join their manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating laser cutting machines, as well as loading/unloading materials and finished parts. A counterbalance forklift licence is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: – Set up and operate laser cutting machines to meet production requirements. – Load and unload metal materials and laser-cut components. – Sort and organise parts for dispatch to customers. – Perform routine maintenance checks and ensure machine efficiency. – Follow all health and safety guidelines. – Heavy lifting may be involved. – Must be able to drive a forklift licence. Requirements: – Previous experience operating laser cutting machines (essential). – Counterbalance forklift licence (essential). – Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. – Handle heavy materials.
