We are recruiting a HR Advisor to support a family-run logistics business firm based in Wednesbury. The salary is from £32,000 to £36,000.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced HR Advisor to take end-to-end responsibility for HR activity within a dedicated business area. Acting as the main HR contact, you’ll provide hands-on advisory support, oversee HR operations, and partner with managers to deliver consistent, compliant and commercially focused people solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR contact for an allocated business area
  • Lead employee relations casework (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, capability)
  • Provide expert advice on complex and sensitive people matters
  • Oversee HR operational activity, ensuring accurate and timely employee lifecycle processes
  • Coach and support managers in effective people management
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment law and internal policies
  • Support HR projects, change initiatives and continuous improvement
  • Produce HR metrics and insights to identify trends and risks

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (minimum)
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • Confident managing ER cases independently
  • Experience working with HR administration or shared service models
  • Strong relationship-building, communication and organisational skills
