Role Overview

The Business Development Executive will drive sales growth in the manufacturing and sheet metal fabrication sector by identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and promoting technical solutions. The role combines commercial expertise with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes to provide tailored solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the manufacturing and sheet metal fabrication sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Understand clients\’ manufacturing processes and requirements to provide tailored technical solutions.
• Deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to clients.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and production teams to ensure solutions meet client needs.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to inform sales strategies.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical or B2B sales within the manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication sector.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, sheet metal fabrication, and industrial solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand client needs and translate them into commercial proposals.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and industry events as required.

Desirable

• Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
• Knowledge of industry standards, health & safety regulations, and certifications relevant to manufacturing.
• Technical background or qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline.
