Forklift Driver Witney £13.50 per hour (£32,000 per annum) Contract – Temp to Perm Pertemps Didcot are currently looking for a Forklift Driver to work for our client based in Witney. This role also has the potential to offer full Class 2 HGV training through the Warehouse to Wheels Program. Your daily duties will include: Unloading and loading vehicles safely (both by hand and using forklift) Checks that correct goods and quantity of goods are picked and loaded Replenishment of stock Label and catalogue goods as required, as well as booking goods in on warehouse management system Pick goods accurately from order documentation Movement of goods safely to designated loading areas Ensure goods are loaded safely within the weight limits and are organised to maximum efficiency Preparing orders from pick sheets ready for loading onto vehicles Carry out daily checks on loading equipment Keeping the warehouse in a clean and tidy condition to ensure safety of employees Other warehouse duties as required To be considered for this Forklift Driver role, you will need the following skills/experience: An in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence accredited by AITT, ALLMI, CPCS, ITSSAR, NPORS OR RTITB Previous experience in a warehouse environment Good at working to instruction Good attention to detail Basic IT skills Ability to work with minimal supervision More about the Forklift Driver role: Training provided on warehouse computer system Opportunity to obtain HGV licence via Warehouse to Wheels Program Working week: Monday to Friday Occasional daily overtime available Hours of Work: 07:00-16:00 Start date: Immediate Free on-site Parking This is a full-time ongoing role with the view to become permanent following a probation period.
