A leading regulated manufacturing business based in Derby is seeking an experienced European Quality Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for quality matters relating to sales, customer expectations and operational performance.
- Lead and oversee investigations into manufacturing or operational non-conformances and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
- Report on the performance of the Quality Management System (QMS), including quality audits, corrective actions, test data analysis and KPIs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Manage the Supplier Quality Management programme, ensuring key suppliers are assessed through risk assessments and audits.
- Develop, implement and maintain Quality Control (QC) processes across the business.
Key Skills & Experience:
- UK-based role with responsibility for quality operations in the UK and Europe, with occasional travel.
- Strong working knowledge of CAPA.
- Proven experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 Quality Management Systems.
- Experienced in auditing manufacturing processes, report writing and driving corrective actions.
- Good knowledge of risk management, validation activities, design controls, process development, process monitoring, statistical controls and root cause analysis.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a regulated manufacturing or quality environment, working to recognised Quality Management System standards and regulatory requirements.
- French speaking is an advantage.
Salary: Up to £70k dependent on experience.
