Auction Porter \\nJob description\\n \\nWe have an opportunity for a Auction Porter/Sales Assistant to join our local client on a temporary ongoing basis based in Derby. Our client offers individuals the ability progress in their role working for one of Britains greatest Auction Houses.\\n\\nShift Patterns / Working Hours:\\nWeek 1 Monday, Thursday, Friday 9am to 5.30am, Tuesday 9am to 6pm, Wednesday 9am to 6.30pm\\nWeek 2 Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30am\\n \\nThe successful Auction Porter will have:\\n\\n+ MUST HAVE a Driving License \\n\\n+Excellent customer service skills\\n\\n+Written and spoken English, this role requires communications with the wider public\\n\\n+Good computer and Internet skills\\n\\n+Attention to detail\\n\\n+An interest in antiques and collectables is preferable but no experience is necessary\\n\\n+A professional, positive attitude\\n\\n+Reliable and able to cope with a physically demanding role, manual handling training will be provided.\\n\\n+Be able to work as part of a small team\\n\\nYour duties as a Auction Porter will include:\\n.\\n+ Handle a wide range of valuable items \\n+ Deal with customers face to face \\n+ Assisting with Preparation of internet catalogue\\n+Picking and packing purchased lots for dispatch\\n+Supporting customers with loading their vehicles; loading and unloading vans; other general duties including being present in the saleroom on viewing and sale days\\n\\nYou will receive:\\n+ Days – £12.21 per hour \\n\\nBenefit of working with Pertemps:\\n+ Weekly pay\\n+ Pension\\n+ Annual leave\\n+ 24/7 support\\n+ Mortgage references\\n\\nTo apply for the Auction Porter vacancy please submit an up to date CV or call us on (phone number removed) to discuss the opportunity further
