Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver

Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver We are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Shunter Drivers to work for our client at East Midlands Gateway where the operation is continuing to grow due to customer demand. As a Shunter driver you will ensure yard movements are done correctly and support the smooth running of the operation.This role presents HGV Shunter drivers with ongoing year round work in a clean working environment. Shift Patterns / Working Hours Available: + Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm (10 hour shifts) + 4 on 4 off days – 6:30am to 6:30pm (12 hour shifts) + 4 on 4 off nights – 6:30pm to 6:30am (12 hour shifts) The successful Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver will: + Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months + Have a valid tacho and DQC card + Previous experience preferred but training provided + Have a positive can do attitude Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver will include: + Moving trailers or units around the yard + Ensure safety of others in the yard You will receive: + Days – £16.38 per hour + Days OT – £24.57 per hour + Nights – £18.75 per hour + Nights OT – £28.12 per hour Benefit of working with Pertemps: + Weekly pay or monthly pay – you choose + Pension + Annual leave + 24/7 support + Mortgage references To apply for the Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver role, please submit an up to date CV or call us on 01332 363000 to discuss the opportunity further.
