We are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work at our client based in Derby. As a Class 1 Driver you will either be trunking between RDCs and NDCs. Work is usually undertaken on a curtain sider.
Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
- Weekdays - 0500 to 0800
- Weeknights - (Apply online only)
The successful Class 1 HGV Driver will:
- Have a valid Class 1 License
- Hold an in date Tacho and DQC card
- No more than 6 points (No TT, DR, DD or IN)
- Must have held your Class 1 license for a minimum of 1 year due to insurance purposes
Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include:
- Operate a class 1 curtain side vehicle
- Ensure all paperwork is correctly signed.
- Trunking to NDCs, RDCs and commercial businesses or collections and deliveries depending on the workload.
You will receive:
- Weekdays - £18 per hour
- Weeknights - £19 per hour
- Saturdays - £20 per hour
- Sundays - £21 per hour
