Job Description: HGV 1 DriverPertemps are working in partnership with the Royal Mail, the UK’s designated Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit HGV 1 Driver for the NW Distribution site in Warrington.As a HGV 1 Driver, after successfully completing an assessment, you will be required to trunk parcels and mail between depots across the Royal Mail Network. here is very little manual work and shifts are offered 1 week in advance however we also are given short notice shifts too. We have competitive pay rates and an array of start times and shifts available. We are keen to speak to any Drivers able to work weekends or start in the afternoon into the evening.To meet entry requirements, you will have:” Held your licence for a minimum of 2 years with no more than 6 penalty points.” You will need to have a minimum of 180 days driving experience within the last 2 years.” Have no more than 10 infringements over a 12-month period.Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.Due to the nature of our client’s business, you will be required to clear a CRB security check following the point of registration.In return, HGV 1 Drivers will receive:” Pay rates – £22.48 per hour to £23.86 per hour depending on shift day and start/finish time.” Accrued holiday pay.” Access to pension (PAYE).” Local agency office/consultants” Weekly pay.” Onsite canteen facility.” Onsite car parking.If you are interested in this role please apply #HGV1Driver…
