Pertemps are currently looking to recruit HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 / C+E drivers to work out of our client’s depot based in Warrington on permanent night shifts.
For this HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 / C+E driver role, you will be responsible for:
- Loading/unloading cages of letters/parcels
- Element of pushing/pulling involved on double deck trailers
- Driving double and single decker trailers
For this HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 / C+E driver role, you will need:
- Experience of driving HGV vehicles (minimum 2 years and driven Class 1 in the past 6 months)
- Hold a valid C+E entitlement, CPC card and Digi Card
- No more than 6 points
Details of this HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 / C+E driver role:
- Monday to Sunday operation
- Average 10 - 12 hour shifts
- Start times vary from 2200 – 0300
- Regular/ongoing work
The rates of pay start at £19.98 per hour up to £22.89 per hour - These are all PAYE rates.
