Pertemps are currently looking to recruit HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 / C+E drivers to work out of our client’s depot based in Warrington on permanent night shifts.

For this HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 / C+E driver role, you will be responsible for:

  • Loading/unloading cages of letters/parcels
  • Element of pushing/pulling involved on double deck trailers
  • Driving double and single decker trailers

For this HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 / C+E driver role, you will need:

  • Experience of driving HGV vehicles (minimum 2 years and driven Class 1 in the past 6 months)
  • Hold a valid C+E entitlement, CPC card and Digi Card
  • No more than 6 points

Details of this HGV 1 / LGV 1 / Class 1 / C+E driver role:

  • Monday to Sunday operation
  • Average 10 - 12 hour shifts
  • Start times vary from 2200 – 0300
  • Regular/ongoing work

The rates of pay start at Β£19.98 per hour up to Β£22.89 per hour - These are all PAYE rates.
