Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 + Overtime (OTE up to £48,000)
The Company
Our client is a leading provider of forklift servicing and repair solutions, trusted across the industry for their expertise and customer focus. They are now seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Service Engineer to join their team in Rochester, Kent.
The Role
- Servicing, repairing, and refurbishing a range of forklifts and materials handling equipment (gas, electric, and diesel).
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out efficient repairs to minimize downtime.
- Refurbishment and respray work when required.
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Maintenance/Service Engineer, ideally within forklifts, HGV, plant hire, or similar sectors.
- Background in marine or armed forces engineering also advantageous.
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge with fault-finding expertise.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
