A well-established manufacturer based in Chichester is looking to recruit a skilled Plant Maintenance Engineer to support ongoing reliability through effective servicing, repairs and planned preventative maintenance of their production machinery.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 9 hours per day • Late morning starts Monday–Thursday • 7:00am start on Fridays
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, repair and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs
- Maintenance work involving hydraulics and pneumatics
- Supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong multi-skilled maintenance background (electrical & mechanical)
- Experience within manufacturing environments advantageous
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to work independently and respond proactively to maintenance issues
