Our client, a growing contractor based on the outskirts of Redhill, is looking for a meticulous and proactive Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. Available due to internal promotion you will be working alongside the Financial Controller, supporting all aspects of accounts including:
- Managing Purchase & Sales Ledger
- Handling Intercompany transactions & bank reconciliations
- Preparing VAT & CIS returns
- Processing weekly & monthly payroll
- Supporting with preparation of management accounts
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Sage Line 50 & Sage Payroll experience
- AAT / ACCA or equivalent qualification
- A good working knowledge of CIS returns
- Previous experience within the Construction sector
- A detail-oriented mindset and a positive, can-do attitude
