We’re recruiting on behalf of a global engineering business specialising in materials testing equipment, with customers and partners worldwide. Available due to internal promotion & business growth, this is an excellent opportunity for an engineering-minded professional who enjoys hands-on technical work, customer interaction and travel!

Please note: This is a fully on-site role based in Crawley. Candidates must live within commuting distance and hold a full UK driving licence.

The Role: You’ll support customers across the UK and internationally, providing technical demonstrations, installations, servicing and training on high-performance analytical instrumentation (OES / LIBS). The role combines engineering know-how with relationship-building and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical demonstrations, installations and customer training
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support and servicing
  • Support customers and distributors across the UK and internationally
  • Assist with product trials, commissioning and customer acceptance
  • Act as a technical point of contact between customers and the wider business

Person Specification:

  • Engineering, Physics or Science-based qualification
  • Hands-on experience with testing instrumentation (ideally OES or LIBS)
  • Confident communicator with a customer-focused mindset
  • Enjoys travel and working directly with customers
  • Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK

The Package:

  • Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
  • £32,000 – £35,000pa salary (DOE)
  • Bonus scheme
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
