We’re looking for a highly organised Stock Control & Purchasing Coordinator to play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
You’ll be at the heart of our supply chain—making sure stock levels are accurate, purchase orders are timely, goods flow efficiently in and out of the business, and the stores environment is safe, tidy, and well-organised.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Stock Control
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels across the business
- Organise stock locations for efficient storage and easy retrieval
- Manage batch-controlled and expiry-dated stock in line with procedures
- Identify and isolate obsolete, damaged, or faulty stock using quarantine processes
- Support regular stock counts and audits
- Raise purchase orders for stock replenishment and ad-hoc requirements
- Monitor stock levels and run weekly reports to ensure uninterrupted supply
- Liaise with suppliers on availability, pricing, and delivery schedules
- Track purchase orders and proactively chase overdue deliveries
- Maintain accurate re-order levels within the ordering system
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers
- Process supplier invoices and support purchasing administration
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods for accuracy and condition
- Book goods into the system in line with Goods In procedures
- Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies promptly
- Put stock away efficiently and safely in designated locations
- Accurately pick items against sales orders, works orders, and service requests
- Follow established picking and dispatch procedures
- Package goods securely and prepare them for courier collection
- Coordinate with couriers to ensure timely despatch
- Flag and report any picking discrepancies or shortages
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe stores environment
- Work safely and responsibly at all times, following health, safety, and environmental standards
Who You’ll Work With

What We’re Looking For
- Skills & Experience
- Experience in stock control, stores, or warehouse operations
- Understanding of purchasing and purchase order processes
- Hands-on experience with goods inwards and dispatch
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
- Confident communicator with both internal teams and external suppliers
- Reliable, well-organised, and methodical
- Proactive, with a practical problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Committed to health, safety, and quality standards
Company benefits
- 38 hours per week, Mon-Thurs 8.00am to 4.30pm with half an hour unpaid lunch break; Friday 8.00am to 2pm
- 26 days a year, plus statutory public holidays, with an additional day per year of service, up to a maximum of 5 extra days/year
- Annual Leave can also be booked on an hourly basis.
- 5% Contributory Group Personal Pension Scheme. You can opt to upgrade your contribution by 1%, our contribution will also then increase by 1% to 6%.
