We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Coventry (CV7) for an experienced Production Operative / Fabricator Welder to join their busy workshop team. This is a hands-on role within a manufacturing environment, ideal for someone with experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding.
The Role
- Operating machinery including guillotine and punch equipment
- Press brake operation and forming sheet metal
- MIG and TIG welding
- Working from engineering drawings
- Inspecting finished components to ensure quality standard
- General workshop and fabrication duties
Requirements
- Previous experience operating guillotines and punch machinery
- Press brake experience
- MIG and TIG welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, hands-on approach
