We are currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a busy private sector law firm based in central Newport on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is immediately available and confident working within a solicitors’ practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting professional correspondence and letters
- Preparing court forms and transfers
- Supporting with wills and private client matters
- Answering incoming calls and responding to emails
- General administrative and secretarial support to fee earners
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a solicitors’ firm
- Strong typing and document drafting skills
- Confident handling legal documentation and court forms
- Professional telephone manner
- Experience using legal case management system
This is initially a 2-week assignment with a strong likelihood of extension.
