About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the Data Support Team within a busy operational environment in Newport. This role offers full training and a great opportunity to build long-term experience in a fast-paced team, with the potential for hybrid working after training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review incoming jobs and create task lists for the operational team using internal mapping systems
- Prioritise and schedule workloads efficiently based on urgency and operational needs
- Take job requests over the phone and input them accurately into the system
- Communicate with field teams and colleagues to ensure work is allocated and tracked
- Support the team with general administrative duties as required
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills (essential)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (essential)
- High attention to detail and accuracy (essential)
- Able to prioritise workload and manage tasks effectively (essential)
- Experience with SAP or mapping systems (preferred but not essential)
- Someone who is keen, reliable, and looking for long-term opportunity
