The Facilities Coordinator will report to the HSEF Manager and will be responsible for overseeing building and equipment maintenance within their production and manufacturing facility., · Adhere to relevant standards, legislation, policies, and protocols, ensuring compliance with industry safety standards
· Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations

Perform general site maintenance and liaise with contractors to ensure high standards of work and on time delivery

Coordinating daily maintenance tasks such as general repairs and inspections to ensure machinery is in good working order

Have a good understanding of Health & Safety/risk assessments, method statements & permits to work

Updating maintenance logs for all machinery

Provide maintenance support required for production and emergency callouts

Key Holder responsibility including first responder on key holder list

Have some understanding of building infrastructure systems e.g. HVAC, plumbing, security/fire alarm systems

Complete Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPMs) in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Review and act on service reports from contractors, addressing defects and repairs as necessary

Accountable for delivery and adherence to the Maintenance Plan and associated priorities including performance requirements in your area remit, escalating any issues as necessary

Implementation of the visual factory / 5s Implementation

Environmental response and controls

Manage the Facilities Helpdesk tickets relating to maintenance and repair tasks

Conduct company vehicle checks and action accordingly

Foster strong relationships with colleagues, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers

Proven experience within a Facilities Maintenance role previously (Essential)

Proactive with strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Computer literacy is essential, especially an excellent understanding of MS Word and Excel.

Ability to work at heights.

Forklift license (desirable)

Mechanical and/or Electrical qualification or significant M&E experience (desirable)
