Job Description
- Prepare 2D AutoCAD layouts based on client and contractor drawings
- Export designs into proprietary control software to support pre-commissioning
- Create and populate system icons and network trees
- Produce and revise technical drawings and schematics to industry standards
- Liaise with engineers, project teams and estimators to ensure smooth handovers
- Maintain detailed design documentation and support design improvements
What We're Looking For:
- Previous CAD experience, ideally in lighting, electronics or manufacturing
- Strong AutoCAD skills; experience with 3D tools (e.g. SolidWorks or Rhino) is a plus
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Excellent attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
- Degree or certification in a relevant discipline preferred
- Awareness of smart lighting systems or IoT-based technologies is desirable
