Traffic Marshall in Weybridge

Our client is looking for Car Park Marshalls for a busy local supermarket with run up to Christmas. Contract to start December. Full training provided. Full‑time hours, Monday‑Sunday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Traffic management: Direct vehicles to keep traffic flowing efficiently, particularly during peak entry and exit times, and manage congestion. They direct cars to free car spaces, ensuring car spaces are clear and cars are not parked poorly.
• Safety and security: Protect both pedestrians and drivers by preventing accidents, ensuring that all drivers follow safety rules, and sometimes providing a security presence.
• Vehicle guidance: Assist drivers in finding parking spaces and guide them through tight or difficult areas, which is especially important for large vehicles such as trucks or cranes on construction sites.
• Customer service: Provide assistance to visitors with queries, directions, or other needs, and be a friendly, helpful point of contact.
• Confidence: Be prepared for and manage unexpected situations such as overspill parking, bad weather, or potential emergencies, working well under pressure.
• Teamwork: Communicate with site managers and work as part of a team to ensure smooth operations and help with risk management.
