We are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Coordinator to join a well-established logistics operation based in Avonmouth. This is a full-time temporary to permanent position within a fast-paced transport environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing driver paperwork and coordinating daily transport activity
- Acting as the main point of contact for drivers while on the road
- Communicating effectively with internal teams and operational sites
- Monitoring transport performance and compliance
- Handling calls and emails in a professional manner
- Managing vehicle breakdowns and responding to operational issues
- Supporting safe and efficient delivery operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics environment
- Basic working knowledge of transport legislation, including:
- Working Time Directive
- EU Driver’s Hours
- Tachograph regulations
