Salary: £25k – £35k (depending on experience)

Hours: 9:00am – 4:00pm (Mon – Thurs) & 9:00am – 1:00pm (Fri)

Location: Covering South Wales

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the role:

We’re looking for a Fire Risk Assessor to help businesses stay safe and compliant. This role is all about protecting lives and property by conducting fire risk assessments, providing practical advice, and supporting clients to maintain high standards of fire safety.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct Fire Risk Assessments across medium-risk premises using software tools.
  • Prepare reports and action plans based on assessment findings.
  • Advise clients on fire safety compliance, legal obligations, and training needs.
  • Stay up to date with legislation, codes of practice, and industry developments.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum Level 3 Certificate in Fire Safety / Fire Risk Assessing.
  • At least 1 year of experience conducting FRAs or premises inspections.
  • IFSM membership (AIFSM or MIFSM).
  • Enthusiasm, integrity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence visiting client sites.
  • IT literate with basic tech and software skills.
  • Own transport and full UK driving license.

Desirable:

  • NFRAR (Foundation or Intermediate).
  • Level 4 Fire Safety / Risk Assessing.
  • Construction site inspection experience.
  • NEBOSH Construction Fire certificate.

Hours & Flexibility:

Full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days/week). Flexible and hybrid working arrangements considered.
