We are currently recruiting reliable and hard-working Warehouse Operatives / Parcel Sorters to join a fast-paced parcel distribution centre in Wakefield, based at the Yorkshire Parcel Hub.
Shift Options & Pay Rates:
- Early Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm - £12.54 per hour
- Late Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm - £13.90 per hour
- Night Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am - £15.11 per hour
The role is being offered on a temporary ongoing basis.
Job Duties:
- Sorting parcels by postcode and destination
- Loading and unloading parcels from vans and conveyor belts
- Ensuring accurate handling of parcels to avoid damages
- Keeping the warehouse clean and safe
- Working to tight deadlines in a team environment
Requirements:
- Good level of physical fitness – heavy lifting may be involved
- Punctual and dependable
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided!
