Pertemps is supporting a local NHS Trust as they continue a major digital transformation programme that is changing how services are delivered across Cornwall and the wider region. This role sits at the heart of a programme that is genuinely changing how services are delivered across the region. The Role
- You’ll manage a portfolio of digital and systems projects, some large and complex, working with a wide mix of stakeholders including technical teams, clinicians, operational staff, and external suppliers.
- This is hands-on project delivery.
- You’ll take ownership from initiation through to implementation and benefits realisation, making sure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and actually work for the people using them.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering multiple projects across digital, clinical and business systems
- Leading and motivating multi-disciplinary project teams
- Managing project plans, budgets (up to £500k), risks and dependencies
- Working closely with stakeholders to define requirements and outcomes
- Coordinating suppliers and ensuring contractual deliverables are met
- Supporting change management and system adoption
- Ensuring smooth handover into live support environments
- Communicating clearly at all levels, even when things get complex
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering structured projects from start to finish
- Formal project management qualification (PRINCE2, Agile, APM or similar)
- Confidence managing multiple workstreams and competing priorities
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in large, complex organisations
- Calm under pressure, organised, and solutions-focused
- Comfortable leading change and influencing without authority
- Healthcare or public sector experience is beneficial, but not essential.
