About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy and supportive finance team based in Studley, Warwickshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong ledger experience who is confident in financial reporting and looking to start immediately. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the smooth running of the accounts function.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining purchase and sales ledgers
- Posting and reconciling invoices and payments
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with monthly reporting and financial summaries
- Supporting month-end processes
- Maintaining accurate financial documentation and records
- Assisting with ad-hoc finance duties as required
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
- Strong experience working with ledgers
- Confident producing and assisting with financial reports
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
