We’re looking for a Yard Labourer to support day-to-day operations at a busy electrical equipment depot. This is a great entry-level role for someone early in their career who enjoys hands‑on work and wants to develop technical skills within the power generation industry.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with the maintenance, cleaning and preparation of diesel generators and rental equipment
  • Help load and unload equipment in the yard
  • Support basic repairs and servicing tasks
  • Collect generator readings (hours and fuel levels) from returned equipment
  • Drive forklifts (training provided)
  • Occasionally deliver or collect parts using company vehicles
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow all Health & Safety procedures

What You’ll Need

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Forklift licence (or willingness to train)
  • Experience in a workshop, yard, or hands‑on environment (desirable)
  • CSCS card preferred
  • A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
