We’re looking for a Yard Labourer to support day-to-day operations at a busy electrical equipment depot. This is a great entry-level role for someone early in their career who enjoys hands‑on work and wants to develop technical skills within the power generation industry.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with the maintenance, cleaning and preparation of diesel generators and rental equipment
- Help load and unload equipment in the yard
- Support basic repairs and servicing tasks
- Collect generator readings (hours and fuel levels) from returned equipment
- Drive forklifts (training provided)
- Occasionally deliver or collect parts using company vehicles
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow all Health & Safety procedures
What You’ll Need
- Full UK driving licence
- Forklift licence (or willingness to train)
- Experience in a workshop, yard, or hands‑on environment (desirable)
- CSCS card preferred
- A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
