Location: Manor Park, Runcorn (WA7)

Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per annum

Shifts: Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 17:15 & Friday 08:30 – 16:00

Our client, a market leading Manufacturer within their sector, are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for their next challenge.

As the Procurement Manager, your duties will be:

  • Develop, implement and manage comprehensive procurement strategies, policies and procedures that align with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, market trends and sourcing opportunities.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and demand management initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Negotiate and agree on contract terms, pricing and service level agreements.
  • Draft, review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Build, maintain and manage long term relationships with contracts.
  • Oversee the procure-to-pay process, including the management of purchase orders.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure the smooth running of the operation.
  • Address and resolve any issues that may arise.

As the Procurement Manager, you will hold the following skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience within the Procurement position.
  • Excellent negotiation and influence skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of commercial and financial drivers, budgeting and cost control.
