Please note that working hours vary by Delivery Office, all roles will require weekend working as per the needs of the business.
Pay Rate
£13.37 per hour with enhanced rates available for unsociable hours
What You’ll Be Doing
You will start your day at the delivery office, where you’ll load your vehicle with mail and parcels. You’ll then drive to your designated area and complete your deliveries on foot. With the help of a handheld device, you’ll track deliveries, capture customer signatures, and follow the efficient route mapped out for you.
This is a physically active role that keeps you fit, focused, and connected to your community.
What We’re Looking For
- A full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)
- Confident driving skills with an ability to drive a small van
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Physical fitness : able to lift up to 16kg and walk up to 20,000 steps daily
- Resilience to work in all weather conditions
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Flexibility to adapt to changing delivery routes
