About the Role:
We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our clients growing site in Ledbury. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving site operations, supporting breakdowns, and completing preventative maintenance (PPM/TPM) to agreed standards. The role involves working with electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled machinery in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide breakdown support and perform preventative maintenance
- Maintain electrical, mechanical, PLC machinery and site services (pneumatic, water, steam)
- Support production in running a seasonal fruit pressing mill
- Complete and document all work on SAP
- Participate in risk assessments and site improvement initiatives
- Maintain hygiene and quality standards across the site
- Assist with a variety of projects as required
Skills & Requirements:
- Must be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer
- Strong team player with a proactive approach
- Computer literate (SAP experience desirable)
- IOSH training desirable
Education & Experience:
- A-Level or equivalent essential
- NVQ Level 3 in Engineering minimum
- PLC experience desirable
- Preferably 3+ years in manufacturing, fruit pressing, or drink production
- Shift work experience
