We are recruiting for a skilled and experienced Electrician to join a professional facilities maintenance team at a secure site in Ashford, Surrey. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with 18th Edition qualifications who takes pride in delivering safe, compliant, and reliable electrical services in a complex, regulated environment.
The Role
- Repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical systems and associated plant equipment.
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs), including emergency lighting checks, RCD testing, and first-line response to work orders.
- Minor installations and repairs (lighting, sockets, switches, plant equipment).
- Supporting with general maintenance tasks where needed, such as basic plumbing, unblocking drains, or fitting shelves.
- Inspections and preventative maintenance of systems such as HVAC and fire alarms.
- Diagnosing and resolving faults quickly to minimise downtime.
- Maintaining accurate records of all works and compliance documentation.
