About the Role
Pertemps Technical are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Diagnostics Technician to join their busy service team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing technical support and helping to maintain the highest quality standards across a range of coffee vending machines. This is a varied role combining customer service, technical support, spare parts coordination and continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide telephone and email support to customers, resolving technical queries and incidents
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues with vending machines
- Process and manage spare parts requests, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Inspect, test, and analyse returned components, preparing detailed reports
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Microsoft Dynamics (SAP experience desirable)
- Prepare and update technical documentation for internal teams and customers
- Collaborate with Sales, Quality, R&D, and Production to support issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with data protection, health & safety, and ISO standards

- Understanding of basic electrical principles
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Strong IT skills (MS Office, MD Dynamics; SAP advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement approach
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Appliance/technical support background essential
