Pertemps Aylesbury are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our manufacturing client.
Salary: Β£25,000
Location: Aylesbury
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Mon- Thurs 9am-5:30pm & Fri 9am-5pm
Duties:
- Receiving and inspecting goods upon arrival including checking quantities and storing in correct location.
- Checking for damage and missing items.
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately to meet deadlines and to the correct specification.
- Regular stock takes, coordinating stock materials and dealing with any stock discrepancies.
- Re-palletise containers up to 25kg each and move stock around by hand when required.
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks.
- Ensuring workplace safety by following Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous warehousing experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Physically able to lift up to 25kg
